There are so many reasons to be excited about this next influencer collection! This line is the first of its kind for Mabel & Main that includes styles with a modern, geometric look along with our very first anklet design. The inspiration for this these new designs is the other reason we have had a hard time keeping this collection under wraps until today. We are proud to announce our partnership with the beautifully fierce curvy model, Kimberly Dixon!

Kim is a plus size model and influencer that has been modeling professionally for six years and works with brands such as Ashley Stewart, QVC, Walmart, Amazon, and many others. She is currently a print, commercial, and fit model and is also studying acting. She is an advocate for body positivity and loving your curves and tries to use her influence to empower women and help them build confidence. It was Kim’s beautifully bold sense of style and her dedication to encouraging others in the plus size community that lead us to first reach out to her.

Inspired by Kim’s fierce advocacy for the plus size community alongside her passion for jewelry and fashion, the Kimberly D. Collection offers earring sets, pendants, and anklets. Curvy women have always had limited choices when visiting a jeweler for fine or semi-precious jewelry, leading them to purchase what fits, in place of the true inspiration they sought to wear.

As a plus size woman I have struggled with finding anklets that fit me in the past, so with my collection I knew I wanted to have anklet options that would fit a larger ankle."

When we had our first design meeting with Kim, we instantly knew that this collection was going to be different from anything we had done before at Mabel & Main. Kim was looking for something modern, sexy, and versatile. When our Head of Merchandising, Ally Davis, asked Kim who her style inspo comes from, her answer was all Ally needed to hear to get the design ideas flowing – Beyonce and Angela Basset!

The collection was also designed to be price conscious, per Kim’s preference for offering a plus size accessory collection that made fine jewelry accessible. Too often in the fashion and retail industries, plus size options have either been cheaply made with poor quality materials or marked up to a premium over standard size options when offered in finer qualities. So, we focused on creating an affordable line using the same top-quality gold and diamonds we always do with our jewelry.

Each style in the Kimberly D. Collection resembles a unique blend of sexy, cute, comfortable, and classy, forming a one-of-a-kind, versatile collection for both casual and formal wear. The first pieces included in this collection are two anklet designs. Both feature a paperclip chain measuring 10” with a 2” extender for the perfect fit. Each feature either one or five pave diamond accents.

The Kimberly D. Collection also offers three earring pairs. The two hoop styles feature a paperclip chain design, the first is a traditional half hoop the other is using the collection's statement cluster diamond medallion within the paperclip hoop design. For those wanting a bit of sparkle, this design comes with a variation that includes a pave diamond accent. The third earring style is a stud design featuring the same pave diamond accent.

The final piece of the Kimberly D. Collection is a 2-layer chain necklace. The outer paperclip chain measures 19” while the inner layer consists of a 17” barrel box chain with a diamond pave medallion slide. This necklace also comes with a 2” extender to make the perfect length for any outfit or neck size.
